Tasting Notes
Vintage – A mild growing & ripening season with small but regular showers saw harvest commence in late February, some 2 weeks earlier than average. We harvested only 13 tonnes to maintain acceptable stock levels. Approximately 2,500 litres of the riesling was bottled in October 2010.
Colour – Pale golden straw with Light Green Tones
Bouquet & Palate – A Floral, perfumed nose of lemon blossom aromas. This finely balanced Riesling is anchored by a refreshing acid spine. It displays touches of slate minerality finshing with cleansing lemon, lime citrus flavours that linger on the palate to a long dry & refreshiing finish.
