Tasting Notes
Vintage – A mild growing & ripening season with small but regular showers saw harvest commence in late February, some 2 weeks earlier than average. We harvested only 13 tonnnes to maintain acceptable stock levels, approximately 1200 litres of the reserve was bottled in October 2010.
Colour – Pale golden straw with Light Green Tones
Bouquet & Palate – This wine commenced with a restrained Floral perfumed nose of lemon blossom aromas. It has now started to emerge from its initial staight jacketed steely tightness, opening up now to glorious ripe pear and lemon flavours with hints of kero and slate minerality that linger on the palate with a long, dry & refreshiing finish.
