TASTING NOTES
Vintage
A near 100mm rainfall in December 2008 was a wonderful lead into the growing and ripening season. No rain fell through January & February 2009 which led to a wonderful vintage. We cropped approximately 20 tonnes of premium Riesling and of this we obtained 700 litres for our reserve.
Colour
Pale golden straw with Light Green Tones
Bouquet & Pal
A restrained floral perfumed nose with lifted lemon/lime aromas. The clean lime/lemon citrus flavours that linger to a long dry finish. The Reserve Riesling can be enjoyed now or carefully cellared for some years to fully capture its potential. This is a wine for the patient lovers of traditional Clare Valley Riesling.
